Scott took the time to understand my needs and helped me arrive at a purchase price that wasn't just what I could afford--it was also what I was comfortable paying. He didn't try to "up sell" me or talk me into buying at the high end of my budget. And when I consider the fact that the mortgage broker commission is based on the purchase price of the home, I think it must be rare to find such a selfless mortgage broker.

I was also impressed with the amount of time Scott devoted to educating me about my mortgage options. He walked me through every detail and every fee. He answered all my questions and never once tried to give me the "short answer."
